As A New Year Begins, You Made It, AGAIN!

If I were to speak to you in person, I would start off by hugging you, then we would sit next to each other at night at some place by the river, we would be drinking something warm with chocolate in it, and I would be looking ahead towards the water as telling you how proud I am of you, because saying it to your eyes would break us both down into tears and it will get really emotional.

But since I am not capable of doing this with God knows how many are you out there. So, I will just settle down with saying: You made it .. AGAIN!

You have made it for another year even when you least wanted to, but you were brave and strong enough to not let it get to you.

You made it even though the 30 pills you have swallowed had burned your stomach, but that detox you pulled yourself through gave you more ache.

You made it through those broken set of eyes of your friend pulling you aside from the road, they saved your life but ached your heart too.

You made it even when your psychiatrist was too busy to meet up with you, that was when you first learned that your stronger self is always there for you to turn to.

You made it even when you were on your own, you were your own savior even when you were actually battling you.

You made it through that depressing night you thought will never pass, it taught how to conquer your weakness and own up to it with class.

You made it for another year, and I am going to be greedy enough to tell you and myself... please, pull it off for another year. And every year I will be asking you the same thing: Make it for the sake of the journey you have fought your way through this far. Do not give up now because I believe in you even when you least do, I believe that you will makw it, otherwise... you never would have been built this freakishly strong.

Make it for another year, and never stop trying your best to be the strong spirit you owe it to yourself to be.
