This is obviously not about the amazing Christmas carol that I -myself- am in love with how peaceful it is, this is about the reality of the lonely New Year’s Eve most of us has survived.
For some of us, 2019 was not the most brilliant year, we have had the lowest downs, and barely had any ups. Even numbers really ARE evil! But that is what every year is about, movement.
And who’s to say 2020 is our year!? We can barely even get our own apartment, so, we end up renting one to crash in every night for the time being. And that is how it should be with all of our years.
You do not have to own the whole year and make it phenomenally perfect from day 1 till December the 31st, but you should go through every day of it as if you already own it, this will give you the strongest and most fun year to tell about.
"So, allow your insanity to drive away that silent night that wrapped up your last year."
I know we have lost a lot of people. Parents, relatives and loved ones had died, friends were strong enough but illness was stronger, and few other friends and lovers decided to start off their next chapter without us, and this all sucks.
It sucks how we do not have a saying in fate nor in death, it sucks how our feelings and love did not matter as much as we had hoped they would, but that is just how it is. That is life.
And life was never fair, it was never meant to be fair, it was meant to be real, to put in your way all sorts of things that would make you feel. It was meant to assure you how pain is the realest thing you will ever feel, and how your will is the strongest thing you will ever feel. It was meant to drive you everywhere your spirit would seek, it was made to drive you insane.
So, allow your insanity to drive away that silent night that wrapped up your last year. Let it drive you beyond your limits this year, let it drive you all the way to us, because we will -hopefully- ease your loneliness away starting this year. And let your insanity drive you into the longest path of self-appreciation, because in case you haven’t noticed, YOU have always been there for you.. you were never alone because of YOU.
