  • When and how did you meet with music?

I used to listen to rap, and at the start, I wanted to experiment it. Later on, I started to really, understand music. Then I started to change my style, and it became more of a philosophy than just words that rhythm. And I began to find some new things that others did not, and I started to make my own thing out of it.

  • You recently released the new track ‘Bah’ with DXN & Skull, would we see more of this color in your future tracks?

Trap and Mahraganat are not that different, and you could work within all these colors, and Music that is closer to your culture. Yes, I will do this color in the future but not in the same typical style, I will do it my own way. Options are there, and we do not have to go with just one style.

  • Pick a track from your album OV, and tell us the story behind it?

I can say ‘saa`3’ (‘cold’), it was the last song on the mixtape. During the track I was somewhere different mentally, it was cold, and I was feeling cold. And I can still recognize the feeling I had during this track. However, everyone can feel the word in his own way.

  • How did music affect your personal life?

Music helps me think, it gives me more options, and it opens my mind, it also requires vision. It is something that I am addicted to, something I love. Something that I will do, even when people keeps telling you to stop doing.

  • What makes this generation different?

Social Media. People are now more open to new things.

  • What keeps you going?

Music I do makes me comfortable, and I feel good doing it, I enjoy the writing, the music everything. And there is the motive of course.

  • How do you see the future of hip-hop in Egypt?

It is hard for people to accept the hip-hop culture. I have concerns regarding that. However, I hope maybe this changes in the future who knows.

  • Are there any new projects you are working on?

I am currently working on more than one project right now, and I have a project that I am going to drop soon.

  • Anything you want to say at the end of the interview.

I want to say that, it is all about energy. Instead of focusing our energy on others, we need to fix it on something else as humans than each other, so we can keep creating, it should be simpler
